Military PCS Orders: Active-duty U.S. Military and State Department personnel traveling on official PCS assignments are granted exclusive exemptions to transport household dogs/cats as checked cargo.
Strict equipment caps apply. On Boeing 737 MAX 9 routes, carrier height must not exceed 10 inches due to under-seat space limits. Multi-pet carriers are banned, and in-cabin pet reservations cannot be managed via the United mobile app.
